Walk around any high street in the UK and you’ll be tripping over Starbucks, Caffe Nero, Costa Coffee, and others besides. In Canada, the local drinking establishment of choice is Tim Horton’s. So, in the interests of research, off we went for lunch and a medium capp.

Crap.

Inside, it’s like a bad Burger King. Outside, there’s a drive-through. Coffee should be savoured, not grabbed and chugged on the go!

And as for the coffee… try getting a cappuccino. You can have it iced, or flavoured, but not plain, with sprinkes, in a proper cup. It’s just fast coffee for the fast-food culture. Mind you, I don’t know what the local Starbucks is like, so I may be doing them a great disservice. I just hope they don’t start one in Leeds.
